Expanding AAK Safety's product range: From climbing to healthcare equipment
Safety Lift is a portable health equipment for home care services, used to lift patients from the floor after a fall at home. The product reduces both lifting-related injuries and the number of staff needed for lifting. In some cases, up to three people are called upon, but Safety Lift can easily be used by a single home care worker. The product is a practical alternative to large patient lifts that do not fit in smaller homes. With a foldable stand, it can be set up anywhere in the home; it only requires a hook.
How it works:
Pull down the pulley, and the rope will follow. Attach the patient’s sling and start lifting using the remote. The remote is magnetic and is removable so that you can have full contact with the patient while lifting. The pulley functions for both stabilization and to reduce half the power that is needed to lift.

The device is battery-driven, allowing a more flexible usage.
The device is made out of a plastic, aluminum and silicone, and can come in different colours so that each nurse has their individual device.
